Thank you for your post. I believe I may have spelled Chrast originally without the "h".

Yes, we believe that John lived in the same general area, but we are having a hard time finding something that he filled out that doesn't just have a country. His WWI draft regiatration card says Austria-Hungary. His death certificate says Czechoslovakia. Since I can't find much on his siblings, I don't know if they filled out any naturalization papers or even Alien papers.

I could send away for something to U.S. Dept. of Homeland security for his one brother Paul to see if they have anything, but I don't know for sure if I have his birthdate correct.
