From the Hamburg Passenger Records:
Aboard the German Empire bound for West Hartlepool (England) for emigration to America; departed Hamburg on 15 March 1898:
Hicke, Zacharias, aged 30, last of Czernowitz, Austria, bound for Winnipeg
Hicke, Margarethe, aged 31
Hicke, Franz, aged 3
Hicke, Margaretha, aged 3/4
They seemed to be travelling with others from Czernowitz including the family of Wilhelm Hanoski and Jacob Kinzelman.
Zacharia and family (indexed as Riche), arrived in Halifax aboard the Lake Winnipeg out of Liverpool on 30 March 1898, all bound for Winnipeg. The Kinzelmans and Henocki(sp?) were on the same ship.
