Would appreciate any information and especially death obituary for Louisa Obermiller who died on October 4, 1940 in Los Angeles, California but who was an artist who painted, was originally from Toledo, Ohio and traveled several times in her lifetime to Germany to study art aboard. I also know that she did portrait paintings that hang in Jefferson City, Missouri city hall. Known as Mary Louisa Obermiller, Louisa Obermiller, Louise Obermiller or last spelling of name could be Obermoeller or Obermueller. She died in California because she had gone to live with her sister, Theresa Obermiller Wagar.
Her father Menrith/Menrad/Menrod Obermiller/Obermoeller or Obermueller was a medical doctor who immigrated to Tiffin, Ohio, USA from either Switzerland or Austria and practiced medecine in Tiffin, Ohio, USA and Toledo, Ohio, USA.
I am a relative of her and trying to find out as much information on her life, her paintings and her death.
