I am the Great Grandson of John H. Ecker that was born In St. Johann Austria on 12 August 1870. He later emmegrated to Michigan U.S.A. where he had 9 children, including my Grandmother Florence Adelia Ecker. I am trying to follow his lineage back in Austria as I have no knowledge of his Mother and father's names, birth/death dates or locations. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. We have traced our EDDY ancestors back to the 1600's to England and our Messacer branch back to the 1600's in Germany, but we are stumped with the ECKER line.
