The vessel name on the nat app was indicated "don't remember" and "unknown." There was both a written and a typed. His signature was almost illegible, but consistent in three instances. His first name almost looked like "Moka," but that may have been his attempt to write "Mike." He applied for citizenship about 19 years after being in the country as Mike Wasil. Would he have signed his new name or old name, assuming that they were different? No SSN. We don't have a marriage cert as they were likely married in the old country I'm guessing. They had a one year old come over with Sophie in 1903.
I'm going to look for a birth cert for his first daughter born here in the states in 1904. That may have a good read on their earliest known US name.
