I've been through all 54 pages of his war record. It says he was a 'Natural Born Brit Subject'. However it also says he was born in Lefroy, Tasmania. I am a bit confused by this but maybe it means both parents were British. His mother signed his enlistment papers in July 1916 but no father's signature although it says signature of both parents is required.

Lily wrote asking for the return of her marriage certificate in May 1921. Her address was Post Office, Branxholm, Tasmania. Frank returned in 1919 so Lily must have followed soon after.

Can you tell me how I can access birth records, or baptism records of Tasmania please. I haven't done this before.

Thanks. Pat
