Thankyou so much Michelle for all your trouble.

I did have a lot of that information but yours was more detailed in that it gave me actual dates, not just years of birth/death/marriage and also registration numbers.

I do also have a child called George Gleadow Winduss, 1869, that I was told belonged to Frederick John and Ellen Allen but he must not have been born in Tasmania, maybe Victoria?? I have his death as Prahan, Victoria in 1916 and marriage to Mary Saunders in 1889 in Victoria. You would notice that there was a gap in the years of birth between 1867 - 1874, so it wouldn't surprise me if there were more children in those 7 years.

Thanks so much again.

PS I am also very interested in any information you may have access to on the surname GRIDLEY from the Launceston area in Tasmania, mid to late 1800's. Specifically Alfred Charles born 1865 and married to Eliza Hampton in 1887 and any children.
Hope I don't stretch my luck and your goodwill too far...LOL
