was the husband of
Eliza ??
Robert Watkins
died 62yrs Robert was convicted of Burgalary with violence & Sentenced to Life inprisonment on 10-8-1843 (Bristol?)aged 27yrs with brother Thomas & Uncle Isac. Clothing & watch.sent Norfolk Island on 8-3-1844 on 'Blundell' arrived 6-7-1844.
"Robert Watkins is said to have sneaked away from work details to visit the widow Murphy (eliza above)"
"there might be something about them meeting on the boat"
He or they spent 2yrs 6mths on Norfolk before going to Van Diemen's Land
They had a son
Thomas Watkins/Brown? 21-6-1855 died 13-3-1926 He married
Annie Webb 6-11-1878
Thomas may have been born Brown but adopted Watkins at his wedding?
Any records that might help identify Eliza or Robert and Thomas' parents or was there a death of Murphy? please
