Trying to find information on Americans and Canadian Patriots send to Van Diemans Land, the British penal colony now called Tasmania,

The role of Northern NY in the Patriots war, 1837 and 1838, following the Battle of Wind Mill, in which Canadians and many Americans sympathizers fought for Canada's independence from Great Britain.
Guillaume Charles Bouc is listed at one of those men who were transported to the penal colony in 1840 aboard the HMS Buffalo, he was listed as age 48 a clerk/yeoman.

Your help in finding any connection /information on him would be greatly Appreciated.

Thank you
