Dear Graham, I will send you an e-mail separately in the next few days but if you haven't already, you might like to have a look at Lyn Maxfields web pages at http://www.maxfield.org/

You can also find her at

lynmax@microtech.com.au

To the best of my knowledge there appears to be three definite Maxfields family who lived or live in the north, northwest, west and south of the State.

Both Lyns and my paternal family both lived around the Queenstown area, and are now living around the northwest, or country Victoria.

Despite the fact that I have extensively reseafched my line of the family, so far I have no record of a Gordon Charles Maxfield or Gloria Hill on my tree

The other family I haven't been able to make any connection with lived around the Franklin area.
