Cool.

George Edward is the prize (my great grandfather). It's his parentage that I went searching for and picked up a copy of his marriage certificate. I'm 100% sure of the correctness of the details leading up to the certificate. His parents are listed as Joseph Collidge (deceased), Shoemaker and Mary Kearney. The marriage is in 1909. George's age is listed as 26 at the time. This also correlates with his service record which puts him at age 37 when he enlisted in 1917.
All that I know about George is in a previous forum thread (Jean tagged in this thread). I don't have an official notice of birth, but have his marriage certificate, newspaper entry for his death and his wife's, and details of his 8 children.
As far Joseph, I'll put details of the 6 children that I'm reasonably sure about in new posts (the 7th is potentially George Edward).

Stu
