Seeking Joseph Collidge

Hi Folks,

Thanks to the assistance of people on this wonderful forum in the past. I'm hoping to secure some assistance in finding inof on Joseph Collidge. What I know for certain is that he had a son, George Edward (b. 1883) and married Mary Kearney d. 1930 aged 88yrs, daughter of William and Ellen Kearney.

What I've also found and is the convict transportation for him in 1843 (aged 36 years, making him b 1807 and hence fathering my great grandfather at age 76), a marriage to Mary Kemp approved by the government in 1853, a marriage to Mary Ann Korney and 6 children with her. I also have a newspaper article talking about the death of Joseph and Mary's youngest son who was born in 1879. It leads me to consider 2 Joseph Collidges. Or it could be a collection of information that is half-true and their is a grain of truth in there somewhere.

Any information on Collidges or Kearneys welcome.

Cheers,
Stuart
