Hi Jean

Thankyou, I have since discovered that Alfred and Mary Ann were married in Devonport, Devonshire, England in 4Q 1840. Not Devonport, Tasmania as I read from the marriage certificate.

What I am really after now is how and when they arrived in Australia.
The window at the moment is between 4Q 1840(when they were married in Devon, UK and 15th April 1855 (when Caroline Louise was born in Victoria).

As before any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alfred and Mary Ann are my eldest two girls great, great, great, great, grandparents

regards
Glen
