Looking for the descendants of Daniel BRENCHLEY b1821 Charing, Kent, England. He was tried and convicted at Maidstone Assizes in 1844 for burglary & theft to 15years, for stealing two guns. Transported to Norfolk Island and then Tasmania.
In 1855 at Fingal, Tasmania he married another convict Elizabeth ROSCOE b1828 Chester, Cheshire, England. She was convicted of larceny at Chester Assizes in 1849 to 7years. Transported to Tasmania in 1849 arriving 1850.
Daniel's mother was Amy CROUCHER b1796 Westwell, Kent, England. My research at this stage goes back to Daniel's great grandfather George CROUCHER b1740.
Any info.no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS.
