Joseph RAISBECK Arr. SA ~ 1847 Details??
Posted by: Robert Bell Date: September 25, 2000 at 18:27:19

Urgently seeking information/details of arrival (ie. ship name etc)into South Australia of Joseph RAISBECK & his wife Ann nee KERMODE, married on the Isle of Man in 1846. I am not even sure of what Joseph did for a job in SA but I do know the couple lived at Callington, near Adelaide. The couple eventually went to Victoria (Chewton) for the gold mining ~ 1849/50 however dates are unknown. Perhaps someone knows a whole lot more than this?? Any photos (copies of course!), information, old letters, oral history of this family greatly appreciated. Copying costs etc re-imbursed. Regards, Rob Bell.
