Generally, information including most details on certificates for births up to 1922, marriages to 1916 and deaths to 1937 is available free for South Australia if you know where to look or ask. As your period of interest is more recent, this information is restricted to the individual or family but it is up to the Registrar of the Births, Deaths and Marriages to approve.
From the limited information you have provided I assume that the girls were adopted. If so, have you tried the organisation Jigsaw?
