Hi all...was wondering if someone may be able to help me with a family mystery. Frankly, Im at witts end.
My ggrandfather, William John Frederick Hall was born aboard a ship enroute to Australia in about 1869/1870. His parents (according to his death certificate) were Richard Hall and Rose Jane Baxter.
His death certificate states that he resided in South Australia for 33 years and Western Australia for for 51 years. He was married at St. Pauls C of E, Port Pirie on September 13, 1899 and his two oldest children were born at Port Pirie in 1900 and 1901. His next child was born at Northam, Western Australia in 1903 so this would make his arrival in Western Australia between 1902 and 1903.
I cant find anything online that will help with his parents or other siblings. I was wondering if anyone would have any connections named HALL in the Port Pirie area around the turn of the century (1900's) or if anyone would have anything on a RICHARD HALL or a ROSE JANE (BAXTER) HALL.
Judy (
