Dear Lauris -
Thank you so much for your information on Eliza Hancock and her husbands, James Brooks and Patrick O'Mahony. I've only just started on this line and it is a great help. I was rather surprised to learn that Cora was an O'Mahony as my elderly aunt always thought she was a Brooks.
My aunt who provided me with some preliminary information wasn't sure if Stella and Ilma were born in SA or Victoria, so, as our local library only has Victorian BMD's I'll follow up there.
You mentioned that you had found the marriage for Ilma Brooks (or Hilda Ilma) to George Sharp, but didn't include the details.
Would it be stretching your kindness too far to ask you to look these up again for me - and to stretch it just that little further - Eliza Brooks, I have just found out, married for a third time - somewhere around 1900 to a Mr. Munsey, and apparently had another child, Reginald or Rex.
Again, I am not sure whether this took place in South Australia or elsewhere, but as she lived most of her life in South Australia, it seems a good starting point again.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Trish.
