Anyone out there researching the WILLS and STEVENS families in Adelaide, South Australia in this time frame 1840-1850?
The Stevens family came from Somerset, Eng., via Sydney.
Elizabeth Stevens married William Helm Wills in Sydney in 1839 according to her death certificate. Unable to confirm with NSW PRO.
Children Elizabeth and Ellen were born in Adelaide. William was a ginger beer manufacturer in Adelaide at the time of their birth. Other surviving child was Joseph, b. Sydney abt. 1840.
Believe other members of both families also went to Adelaide and descendants remain there to this day.
