Thank you Jean - we have two James Taylor's in the family and I get a bit confused with them sometimes. James Taylor b. Aberdeenshire in 1846, arrived South Aust. 1864. He died 1917. Buried North Road Cemetery, Nailsworth. His father was James Taylor b. 1814 Turriff and d. 1891 Inverness. (I should be more careful .. working too late at night!) A lot of searching has been done, but there is always more to do! If I find my 'Napier' connection the world will know about it!
