Belinda,
Write to the Yorke Peninsula Family History Group, Dodswell Terrace, Kadina. They are a local branch of SAGHS and they have a good collection of local records, as well as a column in the local paper, The Country Times, which they use to ask for the sort of information you would like. There is also a Museum at Stansbury, not far away.Several Local History books have been written. I am not sure if there is one on Edithburgh, but htere are several on the Y.P. Good luck!
Susanne
