Hi Robin,

Found both in 1841 census as follows:

Andrew EDGAR (under 35 years of age) Page 98 Line 19, Port Adelaide District A

Benjamin EDGAR (under 50 years of age) Page226, Line 16, District B


District A: Is that area north of Bay Road (now Anzac Highway) and Greenhill Road, excluding Adelaide, including Port Adelaide and west of Mount Lofty

District B: Is that area south of Bay Road (now Anzac Highway and Greenhill Road to 35 degrees 10 minutes, that is, north of Christie Creek and west of Mount Lofty
