Smith families/ship Bolton 1848

Hi All,
Searching for descendants of 1 or possibly 2 Smith families who arrived in SA in 1848 on the ship Bolton from London and Plymouth. These included James Smith and wife as well as Ann Smith and 2 Thomas Smiths. I am not quite sure of the relationships in these Smith families and no passenger list survives of the Bolton.
I am related to John Edgar who arrived aboard this ship. Also would be interested in any Scots who were on board.
Thanks for your help.
Robin
