Steve, Thanks for all your help. Yes, I am overseas, California, USA. I send my thanks to all my cousins in South Australia (my birth place)for look-ups, etc.

Your info re specifics on death of Olivia I had not found. And, the James instead of Thos. I can readily understand a misinterpretation by a transcriber. I know when abbreviation of a name occurred there is a little curly cue just above the last letter - signifying such -- and that could be mistaken for es.

A lot of old records are available to our local Family History Centers from the main Salt Lake Library in Utah. But, we do not have access to the more recent SA records that you have locally.
