Hi Allan

I'm in Adelaide and I saw your request on the Gen Forum regarding the AIK family.

I have been doing free research for people all over the world for at least 12 years, and I was in the South Australian State Library yesterday, and I decided to see if I could find anything of interest re the AIK FAMILY.

I did look in the arrivals from interstate records in the Library, but, although there is often quite a large no.of arrivals, this time there were no people with the surname AIK who arrived here in South Australia.

JAMES FREDERICK AIK

James Frederick Aik born 1871 in Pleasant Creek,Victoria,
married Margaret Ross in 1894 in Victoria.

CHILDREN BORN TO JAMES FREDERICK AIK & MARGARET nee ROSS

1. James William Roy born 1895 in Stawell Victoria and died 1903 in Stawell Hospital in Victoria

2. Charles James George born 1901 in Stawell Victoria and died in the Stawell Hospital in 1901

I did a very thorough search of the arrival, birth, death and marrige records in the South Australian Library, but I could NOT find even one record of the surname AIK.

Sorry I could not be of any further help.

Regards
Heather
