Hi Amanda

I found a little bit of information for you when I was in the State Library here in Adelaide a couple of days ago. I am sending it in case it is of some interest.

ARRIVAL FROM OVERSEAS.

Charles Fort, single, occupation farm laborer, aged 18 years and Elizabeth Fort, single, aged 16 years arrived aboard the "Earl Dalhousie" which departed from Plymouth at noon 4th December 1874 and arrived in South Australia 23rd February 1875.

MARRIAGE.

Charles Fort, aged 22 years, single, son of Philip Fort married 22nd August 1878 to Frances Mercer, aged 21 years, single, daughter of Richard Mercer at Wesleyan Parsonage, Port Pirie, District Clare. reference book 116 page 664

I'm afraid I ran out of time to look up any more, so the above is all I managed to find.

Regards
Heather
