Hi Debbie
I've just read your response. I'm happy to do some further looking.

We do not have specific Irish immigrant arrivals in S.A but we do have passenger lists for the 1850's.

I'd be happy to have a look for Isabell and Catherine's arrivals.

Although we do have a huge no. of passenger lists, we do not have a list for every ship which came here, but we do have another good resource for arrivals.

Our birth records go from 1842-1906
Our death records 1842-1915
Our marriage records 1842-1937.

I'm planning to get back into the library at the end of this week, so will see what I can find for you and will get back to you a.s.a.p.

Would I find John's surname on the records as Boyle or Leigh?

Regards
Heather
