Hi Jenny
Queensland records are available in different time periods.
to 1889, bdms
1890-1914 bdms
The rest are in separate indexes -1915-1919 - births [ none after 1919] The marriages and deaths are available in 5 year lots from 1915 - 1939, marriages and deaths to 1959.

The first series to 1914 are the only ones on cd, the rest are on microfiche. All of these records should be available at major city libraries, genealogy societies, local LDS family history centres and some family history centres may also have them.

The certificates up to 1889 must be purchased from the Qld. State Archives and after that time period through the Registrar of BDM's

These indexes are quite expensive to purchase for home use. Think they are available through the Registrar of BDM's.
