Help needed - Mary Rourke
Posted by: Graeme Dobson (ID *****5972) Date: June 26, 2003 at 18:13:39
  of 1995

I would like to contact people researching this family or those that are able to provide information that may assist my research efforts.

Mary ROURKE was born circa 1846 and was a native of Capper Quin, County Waterford, Ireland, and came to Australia with her parents when she was still in her teens. She married Robert James Headland, age 25, an Engineer from London on 27th January 1866 in St Stephens Church, Brisbane (by Robert Dunne) at the age of 20 years. She resided in Queensland until sometime around 1872 when Robert and Mary with the three children who were born in Queensland travelled to Seymour in Victoria.

Mary's parents were John ROURKE and Alice MACKAY
