Hi Christine,

I could not find a marriage for her parents- nor could I find the marriage that you speak of (in Queeensland I assume) I checked up to 1889- as far as my records go.

If she married under COTGRAVE, that would normally be correct as that is her maiden name- if she married under MORLAND it may be that she adopted the use of her mothers maiden name?? If you can find the marriage index number, I would also apply for a copy of that also.

You have also misread the birth record the fathers surname is not Forbes, that is just one of his three given names.

His name is Henry George Forbes COTGRAVE
