Re: QUEENSLAND - BIRTHS - DEATHS - MARRIAGES: Gent

We are researching the surname GENT. We know the following:

Martha Ann GENT (b. abt 1853 in England, d. 21/2/1938) Emigrated to Australia with:
- a son, Arthur Hubert or Herbert GENT (b. abt 1880 in England, d. 7/10/1946) and
- a daughter, details unknown.

Martha is believed to have come out without husband or partner. They resided in & around Warwick, QLD. Arthur was my husband's great-grandfather.

The daughter married a man named MOORE. We are hoping that this marriage is in your records as we are hoping to track down her desendants with the intention of discovering Arthur's father (we are having much difficulty going back further than Martha).

We know that The MOORE's resided in Gladstone and had three girls:
- Mildred who married Arthur YOUNG
- names of the other two are unknown but belived to have married TAGGERT and WALKER.

The three couples are believed to have lived in Gladstone and Bundaberg.

We understand some of these details are a bit sketchy and may have occurred outside your records, but ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Narelle Gent, Newcastle NSW
