I am trying to connect with you as I am descended from Lucy Spinks, who I believe may have been raised by your Mead ancestors in Queensland.
I have been able to piece together quite a bit about the Spinks family through a kind forum poster who steered me to the Randwick Asylum for Destitute Children's records.
