Thanks Michele & John for your help. For your interest and anyone in the future who may see this post I'll tell you what I have found out.
I received an email on Wednesday from a lovely lady who works for the Catholic Archives in Brisbane.
She told me that the address of the church was 139 Sandgate Road, Albion.
She is going to send me some info about the opening of St Christopher’s. The church was blessed and opened on 12.10.1930 by Archbishop Duhig. It was named for St Christopher, patron saint of travel.
Fr J Butler was the first parish priest, and the parish ceased on 31.12.1982. The church was then sold.
A search on Google maps shows the area where it was is completely built out now with light industrial business places.
Hopefully the archives might have a photo.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me.
