Robins from Devon to Queensland
Posted by: Rosemary Pollock (ID *****1015) Date: June 18, 2009 at 21:46:37
  of 1996

I have recently discovered William George Robins and his wife Selina Perry had 2 children in Queensland, one in 1865 (d 1866) and the other in 1867 (d 1867).

I am trying to find out when they arrived in Queensland, where they lived and if possible, when they returned to England.

They married in Sidmouth Devon in 1861, had one child there in 1862 and were again listed in the UK census in 1881, although not in 1871. They returned to Australia in 1881.

Any assistance in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
