Hello Liz,

Thanks. It's nice to hear from you again.

I had a look at the QLD indexes online and couldn't find the Thomas Edward Harding born 12 Feb 1911 that you mention from the fiche but they have him listed twice -

1911/C1682 Warren Thomas father none mother Mary Harding
1911/C1682 Warren Thomas father none mother May

and he appears again in the National Archives with exactly the same date of birth -

WARREN THOMAS : Service Number - QX49062 : Date of birth - 12 Feb 1911 : Place of birth - TOWNSVILLE QLD : Place of enlistment - REDBANK QLD : Next of Kin - WARREN MAY

so I think he was the son of the other May Harding who married John Warren.

MMM ... I was tracing May Harding born 1890. No children to May Harding and Daniel Daly on the fiche, so I guess that's the end of that line.

Daniel would likely be the engine driver. I would love to know if you see them listed in 1915 or 1917.

Do his parents show on the 1930 death index ?

I think I will have to buy their marriage certificate to confirm Daniel Daly's parents.

Thanks again. Best wishes, Wayne
