PASSENGER SHIPS,-QSLD TO THE U.K. 1889+
Posted by: Dianne R. POORE Date: December 13, 2000 at 18:37:34
  of 1996

Does anyone have access to, or know who I should contact re- passenger ships leaving from Queensland for the U.K. ?
I would like to find which ship a James Emans POORE left on to return to England, probably 1889/1890. The ship would probably have left from Brisbane as he was living in Wooloongabba, South Brisbane about that time.
A family rumour says that the ship was wrecked and he died at sea.
Any help appreciated as I'm writing from N.Z.
Regards, Dianne POORE.
