Hi Beth,
A bit more digging with Robyn MILLS' help,I found Herbert Thomas PARKER listed on the WW2 Nominal Roll,he was born in England and listed his next of kin as Harriot,and his locality on enlistment is listed as Graceville,Queensland.

Just a thought,there was a Robert PARKER listed as dying in Queensland,with no parents listed on 7/12/1918.
I would have to check all the other Robert PARKER deaths on microfiche to see if he was the correct ROBERT.

As to the conundrum as to why none of this family appears to be buried in Brisbane,there are two major crematoriums in the surrounding Brisbane area,Albany Creek Crematorium and Mount Thompson Crematorium.
