Hi Beth,
Good news, found an Albet Alexander PARKER on the National Archives website,it gives his place of birth at Pomona and his address as Oxley Road,Graceville Queensland. The National Archives has digitised a file for him, which also includes a photo of him.

It lists his wife as Elizabeth and by looking at the microfiche for Queensland births,it lists his date of birth as 19/3/1917(Reg.No.1917/001374)(which indicates he was born outside of Brisbane, because Brisbane registrations have a prefix of capital"B" with the registration),and his parents are listed as Alexander PARKER and Ada Mary JACKSON.

Alexander PARKER and Ada Mary JACKSON were married in Queensland on 8/4/1901(Reg.No.1901/001556).

The Queensland federation indexes lists two children for this couple.

Amy Alice PARKER born 4/3/1909(Reg.No.1909/004179)
George William PARKER born 19/12/1912(Reg.No.1912/005287).

George William PARKER is listed on the WW2 Nominal Roll, with next of kin listed as Sylvia, but being born at POMONA.

These are the only three children listed for Alexander and Ada Mary PARKER in Queensland.

Hope this helps,

Liz.
