Albert John Turner 1871-1951, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

  of 1995

I am searching for ancestors of my Gt Grandfather, Albert John Turner, born 1871 in England, Uxbridge/Bucks who emigrated from London, England to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia in 1910-11, on the S.S. Osterley.

Whilst living in Brisbane, I have information he may once have owned a farm: Bowdens Farm, Eight Mile Plains, Logan Road, Brisbane - Queensland, and that he may have married three times, and had children.

The names I have are:

1st wife Violet Elsie Moss (born about 1887, Toowong, Stanely), married 2.9.1911 at Rosalie Queensland
Child by this marriage: Albert Turner born about 1912

2nd wife Henrietta May Loftus-Strange (born about 1895 Brisbane)
Child by this marriage: Edward Henry Turner born about 1926

3rd wife Ella Una Anderson (born about 1889 Brisbane)
Child by this marriage: Christopher Robin Turner born about 1937, last known address O'Quinn Street, Nudgee Beach, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

If any one has information on the above names, or advice on how I might be able to follow this up further, it would be most welcome. As I'm based in the U.K. if anyone in Australia is able to look up any records, it would be most appreciated.

Many, many thanks in advance.
