I have been trying for a few years to locate a Charles Howard Watson born in Queensland, maybe around Kingaroy.
His father Charles James Watson, born 11 24 1866 in USA immigated to Australia landing at Sydney on 2 10 1911 via new Zealand on the ship Victoria. The father married a Emma Beckinstine and while I have no details on her. I know she had a brother in Australia and died before 1913. Charles James became a subject in 1913 and died in 1915 at Jones Hill, Kingaroy. He is buried in grave 34 of the Presbyterian section of Murgon Ceme.
Charles the son was under ten when his father died and was living with James and Susie McDonald of Jones Hill. They had been cared for by them from birth and they continued to care for him after his father death ( know from a letter from Mr. McDonald to the family in US after Charles died.
In 1915 the McDonalds were still considered america citizens.
Sounds like a lot of information, but none of it ahas help find any record of the son. I WILL ORK VERY HARD ON MY EDN FOR ANYONE NEEDING INFORMATION FROM USA RECORDS IN EXCHANGE FOR HELP WITH THIS.

Jack Dempsey
