Hello again John,
I'm sorry I duplicated information that you already have.
Erskinville is an inner-city suburb of Sydney. The nearest cemetery that he could have been buried in would be Botany Cemetery.
I had a look at my copy of Nick Vine Hall's Parish Registers in Australia and found the following:
Erskinville not mentioned.
However Marrickville and Newtown two suburbs close to Erskinville are mentioned.Copies of the registers for Marrickville Methodist are held at the Society of Australian Genealogists in Sydney.Copies of the registers for Newtown's St Stephen's Anglican are also held at the same place. I don't know what dates are covered it doesn't state it in the book.I have dealt with SAG's several times they have a great deal of resources and will do research for a fee. SAG's have a web-site at http://www.sag.org.auhttp://www.sag.org.au.
SAG's may be able to help you with the electoral rolls also although some large libraries also have these.
Hope this has been of some assistance.
Regards
Jane
