Eugene "Owen" O'Connor "Connor"

Birth abt 1810 in Kerry, Ireland
Death appx 1874 in Sydney, New South Wales

His trial was in Apr 1835 in Kerry, sentence 7 yrs

Aug of 1835 transferred to Dublin Castle, then onto the ship: Hive which left for Dublin on 4 Aug picked up prisoners, stopped in Cork and took on passengers there. Left for New South Wales on 24 Aug 1835

Shipwrecked 10 Dec 1835 on Bhewerre Beach NSW when the Hive ran aground near Jarvis Bay

In Mar 1836 he was assigned to Master L Harnett - as an in-door servant

"Runaway Apprehended" 3 Aug 1836 Ran away from L Harnett Goulburn - 100 lashes was the typical punishment for "absconding"

He was assigned to Parramatta 1 Oct 1836,

Muster 31 Dec 1837 Argyle District
Muster (count of convicts, like a census) Master Luarence Harnett

Prisoner Absconded 5 Mar 1839
