Sprinz - Crowe
Posted by: Linda Hockley (ID *****0869) Date: August 23, 2013 at 04:58:52

My second cousin, Sidney R. Sprinz went to Australia, and fought as a Digger in World War I. He was released in 1920. A letter from Sidney has just come into my possession, written by him to solicitor, H. J. O'Neill, Esq in 1920 regarding a cheque for 18 pounds to H.V.W. (or M) Crowe, a years support for a child. The letter contains a note on the back returning the cheque, torn in half and advising him to send no further payments until demanded.

What I'm looking for is Miss Crowe's names, the name of the child, and any further information. Any help would be appreciated!
