Hi Michele,

Yes, I had high hopes for that Annie Christensen - she died in a benevolent home - but I eventually tracked a sister of hers and she's not the right one either.

I suspect mine left her husband and children in May 1892, returned to her foster mother in Qld, and perhaps changed her name. She WAS somewhere around Thargomindah, Quilpie, Adavale, Windorah in Qld - and I've had contact with descendants of people who mentioned her up there but nothing more.
