You are a marvel! hot or not i had to go out, but you can work on my family anytime you want :) No i dont have arrival or shipping details this is my paternal grandmothers' family and i have been concentrating on her husbands' side for a long time so i am not that far into the Robbins' as yet. I did find out through his service records that Frederick Neaves was to be 'exhumed' but no other reference to that, which is why i thought they may have brought him home? I dont know how long they were in Wilcannia district only that many of them were born around that area, Penrith, Gulgong, Mudgee etc. which are nearby. Did we find out for sure that he is definately buried in Wilcannia, or just that he died there?? Walter Augustus and Ann Adelaide Smith were married in Penrith C of E in 1854.
Hope i haven't been too long winded,
I believe that some of the Robbins' became Nuns and Clergy and i think there are schools for same out that way, which may have been the attraction to that area?? I need to revisit my notes, I have a small souvenir card from one Sister Mary Germaine Robbins 1889-1949 from my grandmother Adina Robbins.
