Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Jools

I had a look at that old index I mentioned in previous email and have checked it
This record was a christening record for the church with a V prefix

Walter A ROBINS 1833
father William
mother Joanna
it took place at St. James Church of England in Sydney

He could have been born anywhere or on the ship coming out but I doubt he would be christened in sydney if the family lived at Wilcannia around that date
They may have gone there later on

Jean
