I have more information on Martin and Charlotte Bearns. Martin was born in Bremerhaven, Germany in about 1842, his father was also named Martin, a shipwright but the mother's name is not on the death or marriage certificate. Charlotte was born 1847/1854 in Enfield to Margaret Ibbotson her father's name was Gardiner but his first name is not given. Martin died in Penshurst, Sydney aged 84 in 1926. Charlotte died in 1923 Peakhurst, Sydney and her age is given as 69 at the time of her death but I am not sure that that is accurate. Children born to the couple were: Mary A born 1868/69. George 1872. John 1976. Johanna (Eliza J E) 1878. Margaret 1881. Caroline 1884. Blanche 1886. Philip 1890. Frances R or Francis R 1892. John married Emily Jane Curtis. Johanna A Pearce then Spencer J Cox. Margaret James W Lane. Blanche Samuel S Lawrence. Margaret may also have married a second time to Alexander W Meale in 1914. Can anyone help with my research?
