Thanks for the info Tim, but we I don't think we are from the same line of Bevis's.
My line came to Australia in the 1840's?? as Joseph & Mary Bevis (nee Lodge) and their children, William, James, Jeremiah and Susan.

Still looking for more help though.
If I come across anything for you I will send it through.
