McWhinney Charlotte

Charlotte McWhinney we presume came out with her father Alexander McWhinney from Jamaica on the John Robinson in 1852 for the Melbourne Gold Fields. Alexander and his brother Whiteside chartered the ship with other business people.
There is not record of Charlotte on the ship just her fathers name. Alexander was married to Catherine (Kathleen or Katherine Williams), however there is no record of the birth of Charlotte in Australia, hence the thought that she was born in Jamaica and came out as a child.
Unfortunately I have no date of her death or of her birth but she was probably a young child when they arrived in Melbourne.
Alexander McWhinney had an ironmongery store in Melbourne - avoiding the Gold Rush and supplying equipment we are led to believe.
My mother in law is Charlotte's granddaughter and is 85 years old. Her vision is of a very petite lady.
