Thanks Rhonda,
So far I haven't been able to find a connection to any of the other DOWLING families that were also in the area. In the book St Mary's Geelong Its Founding Community, John DOWLING who is Thomas's brother and my GG Grandfather,
Catherine DOWLING who married Martin Treacy is listed as other family. She has different parents and the only thing I can think is maybe they were cousins.
